Substack

Found another good app for reading articles posted by enthusiastic authors. It's called Substack, worth checking out on the Apple App Store or on Google Play. More reading 📚

Live to 100

Watched this series on Netflix about the world's 'Blue Zones', how did we get this so wrong? Click here to watch on Netflix.

Falls of Falloch, Scotland

Sunday usual family day out and we travelled to The Falls of Falloch, quite an amazing place. Nice pic attached from our drone footage Directions here .

Another Self

Wow, wow, wow was told about this series on Netflix and just watch all 8 one hour episodes in one sitting, enthrolling and very apt subject matter at this time. The link is  here . Synopsis Three friends take part in a therapy session in a seaside town and learn to work through unresolved trauma connected to their families' pasts.

Goodreads

Another great app and website, Goodreads, this allows me to keep up to date with my reading list and also pass this information on to you. My Goodreads link is  here , click it to see my reading lists. There is also an app on the Google Play Store for Andriod devices and on Apple Store for Apple devices.

Blinkist

Subscribed to Blinkist a few weeks ago, well probably a few months ago now, and starting using it in earnest last week. Blinkist takes books and summarises them into what they call Blinks. A great way to get the pertinent points from great books without reading the whole thing. Click  here  to download the app, great value for money in my opinion. Happy reading.

Medium

I recently reinstalled the Medium app on my 'phone' and have selected one interest to follow for the meantime called 'Self Improvement'. When I read something I find interesting I will share the article here on my blog.

100 hours per year

I have committed to reading books which revolve around making me the best version of myself possible. There is a theory which says if you read for 100 hours per year, which works out at ~16 and a half minutes per day, you will have done more than 95% of others. I currently have a list of 13 books which I am working my way through and will keep me going for some time.
